Yeah, the rules say no cameras, cell phones, large bags, nothing will be signed other than wine. Works for me and I understand with security. Maynard is a pretty introverted person. I will probably have my 1 years old daughter on my chest in the carrier, hope they don't confiscate her. :D

Saw this thread and started listening to some Tool this morning. Broke out the ol' 72826 tape and was jammin. I decided to add Cold and Ugly to a video I have. In keeping with the crazy **** vids Tool has I thought this went together ok. I am an amateur at this vid stuff and still learning. I hope you Tool fans enjoy it.;):D

I'd really like to try his wine. If it's anything like his music, I'll be in love lol!

    AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME

I left work 2 hours early today to go to Whole Foods. My wife and I got there around the starting time and there was a line around the corner, but it moved pretty good. They gave us tickets, our were 242-243 and said anyhting after 500 was probably not going to get in. As we rode the line, more and more of the wine available was being sold out, as people were buying cases at a time. The cheapest wine was sold out but we were able to get a couple of bottles as each person needs a bottle to see Maynard.

It took about an hour and a half total and we were in. The business partner and Maynard were sitting together signing and as I went up Maynrd started talking to the other guy, but he stopped talking, signed, looked me in the eye and said "Hey, thanks for coming out today" It was Awesome being 3 ft. away from Maynard. My wife was behind me and the manager that was handling the bottles said "Nice Dimples" to my wife, Maynard and the other guy heard it, looked up and said hello in unison to my wife as Maynard had a big smile on his face as he said hello to my wife. I did not get a smile

It was a pretty cool experience. Took 1.5 hours, cost us $52 for 2 signed bottles from Maynard and the other guy. Rock On.

Man, this is a sign of old age. Maynard is part owner of a winery?
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

I missed his signing in Tucson a few months ago, a friend of mine made it, and the line was HUGE!

Arizona Stronghold resides about an hours drive from our house. I have yet to go there, but I have hit the other wineries that are near his in the Sonoita area.

Thanks for the link. It is a little surreal knowing I met both those guys 2 days ago and they smiled at my wife. They were both very friendly. Wish I could have had a picture, but bottles signed by both of them is pretty cool.
