I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

It's worth a watch for sure.

Saw this movie last night. I was quite surprised! I thought it was going to be a half-hearted effort that wasn't going to pan out since I didn't remember seeing anything about it in the theaters. That's a shame because this was much better than I thought it was going to be.

Yes, Daniel Craig gave a good performance but I thought Liev Schreiber's performance was captivating and convincing. I wasn't even aware of the story of the Bielskis but the story was compelling and very well done.

It reminded me of "Enemy at the Gates". I would go further than a rental. I think this film deserves a permanent residence in any movie collection.

I, on the other hand, thought "Defiance" was so boring and detached I almost felt asleep while watching it. To me, there was no way I could bring the suspense level of "Enemy at the Gates" down to this level to make a comparison :p

If you are near a Red Box, you can rent it for 1 dollar.

So why not? lol All you lose if you don't like it is a buck and a couple of hours of your life.

The movie is not bad. But I agree, not nearly as good as Enemy at the Gates. The opening sequences of Enemy At the Gates alone is really remarkable.
