I have had great luck with www.woofersetc.com they are authorized dealers on some of their brands and their pricing is great. They carry high end lines like Image Dynamics, Polk SR, DLS, JL, etc...

cheap = no warranties. Might as well go used off eBay.

But I would buy local/authorized so you get manufacturer warranties.

If youre not worried about getting remanufactured gear or repaired gear or out and out knock off gear than any old e-tailer should do the trick. But if you want first off, top shelf goods with full backing and warranty from the manufacturer then youre gonna have to stick with authorized retailers like Crutchfield.com

I have ordered a ton of equipment from both Crutchfield and woofersetc.com, I would highly recommend both of them with the advantage going to Crutchfield for their easy return policy, free shipping and install kits, as well as avoiding local taxes. If you shop for Crutchfields sales, you can pick up a steal from time to time. Woofersetc.com always has GREAT pricing and they will let you know what they are authorized dealers for and what is B stock. Again, they are not authorized for all their brands, but they are for a lot of great brands that don't get the credit they deserve. I love my Polk SR speakers and sub, but would also recommend Memphis amps and subs, ID subs, DLS speakers and amps (for a very smooth and mellow sound that is not for everyone, kind of like Dynaudio), and Hertz is a brand to look for as well.
