The 303 is Ok, two would be better...but be informed that they'd be better for music than HT..because they don't have a deep low end. But they're punchy and fast for the price! Would make a good match for Polk towers that don't go down to 40hz. If you have M70s, TSI-500s, Rti-8s/A-5s I think you'd need a Bigger sub.
cnhCurrently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
Polk Lsi-7s, Def Tech 8" sub, HK 3490, HK HD 990 (CDP/DAC), AKG Q701s

Living in an apartment I for 8 years I had a Definitive Technology Prosub 100. 250 watts that would go down to 18 hz. It is small enough not to upset people but when I moved into my house you can turn it up and it shook the house pretty well.
I sold mine a month ago. I miss it but am looking foward to getting a Sunfire.Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t -
I first started with a PSW303 in my Polk HT setup.
It's a decent little sub for its size and power.
Depending on the rest of your setup, it does its job at providing the 'bottom end' to music and movies.
If your mains are bookshelves and you are in a small area, the PSW303 could work.
If your mains are towers that have low end reach, like cnh said, the PSW303 might not be a good match and harder to integrate properly.
fwiw...

I bought one about a year ago but only used it about 3 months, then purchased a BIC H-100. 303 sounded ok, BIC a bit better. Now have to sell 303.
