Alright, so I received my government subsidized coupon for a converter box. Anyone have a recommendation on a TV converter box?

I only used 2 models of DTV boxes. One hands down NO way would I buy again, and it died 5 months later... Magnavox box from Walmart.

The other is an Insignia box in which I found it to be very nice, and reliable. Heres a link http://www.amazon.com/Insignia-NS-DXA1-Digital-Converter-Regular/dp/B001AH8BGW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1244082607&sr=8-4

Thanks, Steve. I'll take a look at the Insignia.

Anybody else? I assume the rest of you are on cable, satellite, or have TV's with digital tuners.

I have a Zenith from Radio Slack in a spare bedroom which has been trouble free. $19.99 with coupon.

Great picture and sound. Hooked it up to 19.99 antenna from Monoprice. Pretty good.

I found out that the Insignia is built by Zenith, so there's another vote for that. Agree picture is great for an old analog set.
