Hmmm.....
They need a lot of POWER, your AVR may not power them correct.
Also not sure about Canada prices, but that seems to be a lot money for them.

One thing about Living in Canada, you always pay more...lol. Anyway Steve how are they sonically, would you compair them to the A9'S?"They're always talking about my drinking, but never mention my thirst" Oscar Wilde

I never heard A9 speakers, but IMHO I would say about the same. They have 3 sub woofers and 2 mid woofers with 1" tweeter. RTi150 speakers have 3 sub woofers 1 mid woofer with the 1" tweeter. I'm thinking 2 mid woofer doing the same as the 1 mid woofer is good for the woofer. They love power, but over powering them I blow that 1 mid woofer
Don't worry I have about 400+ watts to them, and I make them SING

I just picked up a pair of these this week locally, man they really sound good, but im trying to drive them with my new yamaha rxv1900, 130w x7, I biamped them, and they really heat up the amp while playing them in 2 ch mode with loud music!!! HT is fine, but for music Im going to have to buy a seperate amp I guess? Its not over heating the yammy till the circuit protector shuts it down, but its just running way to hot.
