Please help ID these tube monoblocks

Hi all,
I am looking at this pair of monoblocks, which will need rebuilding.
The seem to be a DIY pair, and the seller bought them at some estate sale, so he does not have much info on them.
Do these look familiar? Do 4 tubes on the channel and some kind of a can transistor ring a bell?
Anything will help. Thanks!

Looks like the amplifier from an old TV set, retro-fitted with banana jacks and a power cord.

Never seen one of those before. Did you already get them? If you're looking for DIY, check out dynakitparts.com Brand new that you get to build.

I am thinking about getting them. They are not far from Toronto (Dundas, ON) and the price is cheap (basically, I'd pay more for the transformers alone).
On the other hand, I have a lead on the local Dynaco ST-70 in very good condition.
So I am comparing my options. If these monoblocks are worth rebuilding (i.e. if they will push around 40+ Watts per channel), then I might be interested in working on them. Otherwise, I'd just get ST-70 and take my time modding that amplifier.Panasonic PT-AE4000U projector for movies

That's awesome. Whichever one you go for, I think you'll have a blast. I have an ST-70 that I put some work into. They are excellent amps. Keep in mind that with the stock configuration, you could also run KT66, 5881 and 6L6GC output tubes on them.

Forgot to ad this on my previous post. Do you know what kind of output tubes they use? YOu mentioned that they use 4 tubes, are they two signals and two outputs? If two outputs, they're in a push pull configuration and if you know the type of tube, you can guesstimate their output power.

I'll most likely get the ST-70 tomorrow, but these monoblocks definitely look like an interesting project.
I have no idea, which tubes these amps use, but I can do some calculations and figure it out, if I'll get the amps.
From what I can see is that in each amp there are 4 sockets for large tubes and 3 sockets for smaller tubes. Looks like there is also a can transistor on the heatsink/body.Panasonic PT-AE4000U projector for movies

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Are you getting the new kit or a used unit? I had no idea dynakitparts.com is on Dundas.
4 output tubes should be high wattage. Not ss type high, but tube high.
Let us know how it goes.
