Dogs tail smacked one of my mids and dust cone got pushed in. Tried to "pop" out using a few methods but its in there pretty good. So i need a replacement for my RTA11T. It still works, just UGLY so i have to keep my grills on.

Check eBay. I just bought 8 replacement 6510's for spares. I purchased a couple sets of RTA8t's and 11t's and had the seller just ship the crossovers, tweeters, and mids.

Pauly...I should have one of these for you soon. Just bought 2 of them from a CP member and I only need 1.
When they arrive, I'll let you know.

Eric-If Pauly doesn't have a need for it anymore, let me know. I'll take the extra off your hands.

I hate it Pauly, but one of the 6510's is frozen. Stiff as a board. Sorry man, but you don't want this one.
If I come across another I'll keep you in mind. -
No prob. Thanks for keeping me in mind.
Sooooo
Anyone else got a spare?

I fixed this on my VR-12 Boston center when all the caps got pushed in really far by using one of two methods:
Method 1: Break a toothpick in half and hot glue it to the cone with a generous blob. Let it harden and SLOWLY pull out. When you have it all the way out you can pull a little harder, hot glue sticks pretty poorly and usually comes right off.
For the cones that needed more coaxing, I used the vacuum and the attachment hose. If it forms a good seal, it will give you enough suction to pull it out (unless your vacuum *doesnt* suck). I moved it around the cone until it sucked it completely out and it fixed the dome. Some creases might still persist though.Main Surround -

take an x-acto knife and cut the dome out of a frozen junk speaker be careful and cut exactly where the cone and dust cap comes in contact. take the good speaker and cut slightly above that line. take any glue that dries clear like Elmer's and glue on the new dust-cap and let dry. look good and it sounds the same, here is one that I did that to

Ive tried a few methods similar to these with no luck as stated in my OP. Just looking for a replacement.
Thanks for the advice.

Id rather just wait for a replacement. Something about sharp objects near my speakers that would make me sweat bullets.
Thanks

No sir...I would sell mine here on the forum. Not sure why he takes the fleebay route. Could be the possibility of damage to those fragile drivers.
