Thoughts on this amp?

I already have a set of MM6501 components which I have not yet installed in my toyota mr2.
I am considering buying this amp:

Its probably the smallest amp which will fit under the passenger seat, thats why I am considering it.

Its rated at 250w ...would a MM840DVC wired at 2ohms be a good fit for the sub?
Also, I can run this amp in 3 channel mode. MM6501's are rated at 2.7ohms. Do you think this would be a problem as the amp is probably not 2ohm stable in bridged mode? This will all be wired to a LOC from the factory HU. My original intent when buying the mm6501 was to biamp off the factory stereo with 2 sets of crossovers. Now I'm just tempted to run it through an amp and not biamp since it probably wont make much of a different coming from the factory HU.
