Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    I've had 2.3tl's twice, never the big dogs. I spoke with the seller on the phone not long ago, did the Paypal thing after I spoke with him to insure there was no scam. Now all I need do is go get them.

    Seller is a jazz fan. He bought one Denon amp and then the second shortly after. Quote: "The vocals opened up quite a bit with the second Denon". :D
    He is the original owner, the speakers have only moved once when he bought a new home.

    We'll see how they do here. :D

    Congrats Paul. Well if you dont like the gear that comes with it you should be able to get 400- 600 back pretty easy which would put you at 600-800 for the SDA's which as we all know at that price should be a class A felony :D

    Would speakers like that gain in price or stay about the same. Not sure how much they were at purchase - anyone know that either?

    The speakers are in great condition! They were my fathers and we were NOT allowed to touch. Of course I snuck a little volume once in a while!
