I went on a vinyl binge today

I went to every Goodwill, Salvation Army, and antique store in Lafayette Indiana today and scored more than 60 lp's. I was able to find everything from an unopened copy of Linda Ronstadt greatest hits vol 2 to unopened classical recordings that feel like they are made from lead rather than vinyl:cool:
.... The icing on my cake today was scoring an unopened 1979 copy of Pink Floyd's The Wall and an unopened AC/DC For Those About to Rock. I even found the demo record for Styx Paradice Theater:D
All in all a great day for the vinyl quest. I wanted to get 9 or 10 records from George, but i am having more fun looking for them that I could get from standing at a mailbox waiting.;)

I highly doubt anyone cares. The thing you have to realize is that no one here has to sell you or anyone else here anything nor do they have to offer up Karmas without stipulations. If you choose to get upset by this well then you are only hurting yourself. My suggestion is to simply move on because threads like this only serve to make you look foolish.
REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -

where in my post did I say I was upset? I had a great time yesterday. Whenever anyone else here finds a great deal or whatever they tend to share as I have done here. You simply could have said "nice finds" or better yet nothing at all.:) I moved on thirty seconds after that other thread was started...The Gear... That's cool John,
But I'd forget about the references to George. He does what he does and he can't see posts from most of us on this site. I don't know him at all except that we're basically the same 'age'. I'm sure we'll meet at some point.
There's a lot of 'space' on this site for everyone...so enjoy the space you, we, have.
Don't take all this stuff personally. George is a respected member of this community and he's on his own journey.
So are that rest of us. Let's leave it at that and give people the respect they deserve and forget about all this in-fighting!
There are no winners or losers in the end. Just dudes who enjoy audio/video.

...I got that part. He is like Mohammed or something and to use his name for any reason other than to praise his greatness is blasphemy of the highest order...
I am happy about the outcome as I was inspired to go out and look on my own.The Gear... That is totally unnecessary.
George is one of the kindest, big-hearted, humble, and generous human beings I've ever encountered. If you made his **** list well do something other than badger the club to get back in his good graces if it means that much to you. I was once on his **** list but we worked it out and I am much better for it.
BTW I'm glad you found a good source for vinyl and a worthy cause. -
