Want to improve your DAC? Get a better transport. From my research, I have found that the Shigaclone since March 2008 has been continuously modded, tinkered, upgraded and worked on. Can't ask for anything more. And it is hard to find a CD transport.

Many diyers have been involved in this project over the years and it does not stop to make this the best transport. As an option vicol audio also provides the parts to make the Shigaclone now a mkII the best transport ever. see this thread post #19 for price. High grade version the PCB is 399 euro, standard is 138 euro. two types of chassis(case) 225 euro and 440 euro.
