As we speak, transmitting from the Azores. You find it on the map, and get a cigar.

Using a MAP, not the internet. No cigar! Here till tomorrow, as I don't want to become too much of a bronze god. This sun is killing me. Sicily tomorrow. As an aside, it is tomorrow here already.

Got to go out to the airplane now, dragging "Warthog's" across the water. Talk to you another day.

Stay safe, and thanks for doing what you do.

    Phuz, push for a Macanudo.

    Cheers,

Oh come on now. Do people really use maps anymore? :) Besides, that *is* a map.

If it helps, I found it on my globe as well. But really, who's going to dig out a map with this huge wealth of information right here at their fingertips? :)

    Have fun!

Lajes, Azores, a small rock between Europe and North America, belongs to Portugal. Used primarily as a gas station for military planes crossing the Atlantic.

    I've been through there!

Fly safe and if you make it to Seeb, brewscadaroes are on me.

Maps are like dictionarys. Boreing, annoying, and old. Dictionary.com and mapquest.com make ne map or dictionary look stupid.

Gosh Troy, thanks for pointing out exactly where I am. I've been "through here" a couple times myself. About 15 or 20. Trying hard to be a seasoned world traveller like yourself.

Yes, A-10's. Slower than ****, they turn a 4 hour drive into a friggin' 7.3 hour ordeal. Sicily was okay. Only stayed a couple hours. Just enough time to gas up and come back here to the Azores. Tried to get out of here this morning, but 50 knot winds 90 degrees across the runway tore up those plans. Will try again in a few hours. Even if we get out, the forecast for the South Jersey area at our arrival time will probably have us going into Pittsburgh (which is a GREAT town).

Gosh George, nothing there that couldn't be found on any of at least a dozen unclassified sources. I certainly wouldn't put myself in your category as far as overseas travel goes. My apologies if it sounded as though I was tooting my horn.

I'm from the Burgh and I miss it every day... where else can you get whatever ethnic mix of food ya want and then Party it up in 1 of the most friendly towns in America. Start drinking on Mt. Washington and roll down the hill to the Southside for a Bar Tour followed by a Promanti's sandwich over on the Strip.

Damn... I have seriously considered starting an Italian deli in Central MO but there are a lot of picky folks in the area. :(

    Just a thought!:p

    Hey George,
Wondering if you could give me your input on Carver speakers with Ribbon drivers, supposedly you are the man to talk to. I've started a thread here:
