I just saw this on Encore HD. I don't remember too much about the reviews when it came out (mixed?), but I thought it was very good. A bit Hollywoodish towards the ending, but still very good.

The guy who played the lead role of Jaguars Paw was especially good. I can't remember his name, but I believe it was a native American sounding name.

The music was good, too, and the video quality was outstanding.

If ya missed it like me, catch it on Encore.

I saw the trailer in bb when looking at tvs so I bought the bluray. Picture and sound quality were amazing. Not a big fan of reading subtitles the whole time, but it added to the realism of the movie. Excellent flick !

Average film, at best. A love story with a film that was very Hollywood'ish feeling. No where near the quality of Passion of the Christ.
