I received an email from Polk Audio as quoted below! So, give a try for Polk on Facebook!
Beginning of Quote
To our friends, fans and family:
For many years now, the Polk forum has been a place where enthusiasts and Polk staff can exchange comments about audio, our products and the way you enjoy them. With over 60000 members, it is considered an unmitigated success and we here at Polk are constantly amazed and elated by the way you take the lead on so many topics that are relevant to each and every one of us.
It should come as no surprise that we will continue to support the forum as long as there is a Polk. However, I am excited to announce that Polk is now establishing an official presence on Facebook as well. Though there are a few user-created Polk pages on Facebook already, the new fan page is designed to give us yet another way to interact and share our thoughts not only on the equipment, but the state of the audio market as well.
On our end, we plan to upload links to our YouTube channel (PolkAudioOfficial), product and promotional announcements, and, probably most important, our ongoing input on trends and issues affecting audio and music fans like us.
For those of you on Facebook, please take a moment to search PolkAudio and add yourself as a fan. (If you aren't sure which one is the "official" page, just look through the list of fans to see if I'm on the list.) Once you are on board, we hope you will take the time to be an active contributor, just as you have been in the Club Polk forum. Also, please let your friends know about the page, especially if they are not yet completely familiar with Polk and its products.
Like the forum, the Facebook fan page can be a great source of information and camaraderie, and a way to introduce others to the pleasures of high performance audio. So upload photos, videos and commentary. And by all means, let us know what we can do to make it the best fan page in the audio business.
Best regards,
Al Ballard

Ban the Trolls. Oh, that was in response to Al.

Sorry, I don't do "facebook".
OR twitter. But, good luck Polk.
Let's hope the crazies don't take over."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -

Same here....

I don't think you have to worry about "Crazies taking over" on Facebook. It's a completely different atmosphere than a forum. It will be different, for sure. But it will create more "Polkies". I joined, and have already offered some help to other "fans".

You guys (and ladies) remain closest to our heart. As mentioned earlier. Facebook is just another way to reach out to those who are or may be interested in Polk. In fact, if you notice my first post on facebook, I sent David over here to learn about SDA. Love ya. We'll always be here for you.

It appears there are two Polk Audio groups on Facebook...one has the p and a of Polk Audio in lower case, the other one in caps.
After buying a pair of Rtia3s yesterday afternoon (my 4th set of polks in a year), I realized that I truly have become a "fan" so I searched on Facebook and stumbled across the one in lower case (on that page, there are no posted comments but I did recognize some fellow members names from Club Polk). Anyway, I thought it strange when I received the aforementioned e-mail in my yahoo account just this morning informing me that Polk was now on Facebook (didn't I just join? I thought).
Only after I followed the link above did I realize that there are two separate Facebook groups/pages.2 Ch.

It's a Joke and I don't mind! I've seen a lot of people spelled my ID as Megastat for some weird reasons....:DTrying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin: -

The official page is "PolkAudio" http://www.facebook.com/pages/PolkAudio/79336518582#/pages/PolkAudio/79336518582. The other Facebook page "polk audio" has been there for sometime but we don't know who administrates it.

I Facebook maybe once per Month. I also changed my email address on Facebook because they send so much junk! So all their junk mail is collecting on Gmail's servers!
Las - you can change your email settings in Facebook to not receive any emails. That would probably have been easier than changing your email address on Facebook. The official page is "PolkAudio" http://www.facebook.com/pages/PolkAudio/79336518582#/pages/PolkAudio/79336518582.
