Any opinions on Halcro gear? I was being stupid today and bough a
ssp100! It was just the 7.1 preamp only, no manual, no remote, but it was very cheap.
It seems to be very full featured. Two channel mode is pretty good, but certainly NOT a tube pre:)
I have been running through functional checks, and so far, so good. I
don't have any way of checking the balanced in/out connections.
Not having the remote is a PITA. But's that's why it was cheap, right?
Getting the latest F/W might be interesting.
