Woofer Static Sounds
Hey Guys,
I just picked up some Bic Venturi's for $5 they sounded pretty nice for like 4 days then one of the woofers started to sound like it was staticy. I did some fooling around and found when moving the positive wire into the woofer it changed the severity of the noise.
Do you guys think the woofer is blown? I heard they were almost indestructible or is that false.
Thoughts,
Thanks

Carefully move the woofer in and out with your hand. Should have smooth movement, no binding or scraping. If it does appear to be scraping, it's blown.

Thanks I think it tracked it down to the wires that are connected around the dust cap center cone area. I don't think that can be fixed
