great idea for the grill tonight...thanks

Heres a quick side note about sriracha the American version of sriracha uses preservatives such as Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Bisulfate, while the Thai version is typically sweeter, tangier and requires refrigeration. You can find the Thai version at a very few Oriental stores and it is MUCH better in overall taste.......I use it alot of different things...fantastic on eggs....

how can you tell the difference in Sriracha's? i assume all are American versions in the store. I buy mine at the local Asian market. but do not think it is the Thai version though. Bummer.

Also, for this recipe, I found the roasted garlic vinaigreete at Safeway. The recipe says to let veggies cool. but I don't.. veggies cool down to fast as it is.. and it will taste much better if they are warm instead of cold.

Oh yeah, I also grilled up some green onions. Be sure to watch the veggies on the grill. they cook very fast. in about 2 to 3 minutes per side. I used this four sided grill basket to keep the smaller veggies from dropping down the grate.

I have a four sided grill basket too, it's awesome. I'm going to wait for the veggies in my garden to start popping. It should only be a month and then I'll have some kick **** home grown veggies. Thanks for the recipe!

You can also use the chili paste as a sauce. Just add some to a small bowl and drown it in soy sause. Combine to taste for a quick dip sauce (a bit too runny to add to sandwiches/wraps).

    Have fun experimenting...

the chili paste has more heat than the Sriracha does... I do use it too.. but not as often as I do the Sriracha.

The cilantro really brings the flavors together. and I bet a squeeze of lime might be ok too if you like some citrus flavoring.

This looks interesting to try. Danger Boy, the Sriracha that you are using, based on its color is the good kind. The other Sriracha is darker in color and does not taste that good. You could also use the Sriracha to marinate chicken for grilling, its good.

While it's true that the Thai version is different, we LOVE the sriracha!

Sounds good....I think I'll try it with 2 variations: Put completed wrap back on the grill for a light toasting and skip the lime in the beer!
