It's my first day back to work after the birth of our son last Tuesday. Aidan was born at 11:27 AM weighing in at 7 lbs 15 oz after a long night at the hospital. He came out absolutely perfect, my wife did an amazing job bringing him into the world. She's at home with her mother to lend a hand while I'm stuck here trying to bring home the bacon. He's just such a special guy, there's no way to describe it, but you know it once you're a dad.

Congrats man! Today is my first day back after taking a week off to spend with my wife, daughter and new son as well. My MIL was there the first week and then my mom was there the week after so we had some time last week. Enjoy it and take every chance you can get to hang out with your son. I don't regret one minute!

    Thanks everybody!

He's already been downstairs to listen to my set up. He enjoyed Handel's Messiah and one of his sonatas. When Warren Zevon was being played he started getting upset, I guess he's just an exciteable boy.

Speaking of music and kids, I'm going to be starting a thread for kid friendly music choices in the music and movies forum. I'll be damned if I'm going to be listening to Baby Einstein for the next few years.... Any suggestions will be appreciated.
