A coworker is getting married next month.. it will be his second marriage and her's as well.

They are not having a big wedding.. as both have done the big wedding the first time around. So what do you get a couple who the groom is 46 and the bride to be in 36?

They are not real outdoorsy types. They have a lake condo, she has two tween boys... are not that into electronics.. but do like movies quite a bit. He likes cigars, she likes ?? Both are light drinkers. Non smokers, except the cigars.

Oh yeah.. they met through one of them online dating services.

I hope to keep it under $100

any of your married types remember receiving a wedding gift from someone that you both enjoyed? Something unusual or clever or just plain fun?

I was thinking his and her's tattoos :p

Going to be some small tats at a $100.00 :D

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

A fine bottle of Remy Martin XOXO or some nice Dinnerware would be nice gifts. If all else fails a very sincere card and gift certificate.

Cash baby cash! Chances are the gift you give is either not to there liking or they really don't need it. A lot of wedding gifts wind up being re-gifted or they just sit in a closet for years. Let them buy what they want.

are they not using any gift registries? Maybe it's more of a first marriage thing, but it's worth asking/looking/checking.

Take a picture of all their combined possessions. Cut it in half and put each half in his and hers envelopes, with a note: MAKE IT WORK.:D

How about a gift certificate to a really nice restaraunt and and a gift certificate to a local theater which would give them a nice night out.

Make sure it's a charity that goes against every moral fiber of their existence. They'll never forget it, or you.

OK, I take it you do not know your coworker well, but want to do right by him, without spending $ that you would on family. As far as material goods, their age suggests that they have what they want/are interested in.

How about a gift certificate to a locally well regarded resturant that is modestly priced for the two of them? Perhaps, slip in movie tickets and a personal note advising "Just because you two are now married, it doesn't mean that you need to stop dating."
