Polk Atrium 45 offer only applies to tower/bookshelf speakers?

Hi,

I was in a P.C. Richard's today and they were advertising a free pair of Polk Atrium 45 speakers with purchase of $499 or more. However, the salesman told me that you can't buy 3 pairs of Atrium 45's and get the 4th pair free - the offer only applies to tower and bookshelf speakers.

Is this really true? I could use two pairs of Atrium 45's in the porch and 1 pair in the backyard.

    Don't know the answer to your question, but I do know you could get 5 pairs of Atriums for less then $500 if you're patient.

    I got mine off of Amazon for around $80 shipped for a pair.

    Thanks, I'll check that out.

    Atrium 45's would definitely be a GREAT addition to the back porch, I just wanted to know if the deal applies to outdoor speakers or not.
