Ok ..I'm going to assemble a descent system (maybe more than descent), and looking for opinions and advice.
Equipment I currently have:
Head unit : none
Subs : none
Amps :
Alpine MRD-F752 Class 'T'(4x75W+1x250W)
Alpine MRD-F752 Class 'T'(4x75W+1x250W) (second one)
Alpine MRV-1507 (2x225W)
Soundstream Reference 644s (4x75W)
Soundstream Class 'A' Picasso (4x25W)
Rodek 2150i (2x150W)(older made in USA bulletproof amp)
Front Stage : MB Quart separates 5 1/2 with 1" tweets (older set)
Rear Fill : MB Quart separates 8" with 3/4 inch tweets (older set)
Accessories :
Audio Control Epicenter
Audio Control Matrix line driver.
Voodoo 5 Farad Chrome rackmount capacitor ( http://www.voodoocaraudio.com/RACK.htm )
Any suggestions on how to configure my system?
Obviously I have too many amps but I don't have to use them all. I'm thinking of just going with the 3 Alpines.
I am after VERY clean sound and LOTS of volume. Thump is nice but second to SQ. I'm after suggestions on a head unit (must play MP3s), any signal processing, and subs.
I'm not even sure about what I'm installing it all into yet (vehicle wise) as I was thinking about leasing something or getting something like a slighlty used VW GTI or Honda.
