Primare DVD30

I just picked up an open box Primare DVD30 at BB for $400.00. Retail is $4K. I can't imagine someone paying $4K for a dvd player, but I guess some people must. I haven't hooked it up yet, but I hear is is a very good CD/SACD/DVDA player. Anyone familiar with Primare? I plan on replacing my Denon 2910 player. I have never owned a reference DCD/CD player. BB is getting one of the Primare integrated 5 channel amp next week. If I like the DVD player I might try to get the amp and get rid of my Lexicon MC4/B&K 7270 amp and go with a 5 channel system. I would love to hear any opinions of Primare products. Thanks, Jeff

I'm a Primare dealer, replacing B&K for me, and their SPA22 is an awesome integrated. They will soon have a new audio card(card swap from what I can tell), and a full featured video processor with more hdmi inputs(another card swap).
The amplifier section has a very nice sound, and runs remarkably cool. The SPA21(predecessor), ran very warm, and even hot in many instances. It also was a great sounding unit, but did not play well in enclosed spaces.
I wish I could get one of the DVD30's at that price. If you ever want to get rid of it, let me know.
PM me your email address and I can get you some more info on the SPA22.Tschüss

Thanks, I wasn't sure what to expect. Now I have high expectations. I think the integrated is the sp-21. Olkie, What would a good price be for an open box? The DVD didn't come with a remote, looks like Pronto has codes available. Do you know how much a replacement remote would cost? My email adress is Warlocks1@aol.com.
