I must say it's been a few months since I've seen or heard that Ben has done something stupid to hurt himself. This must be some kind of record. You Georgians' keeping him in a plastic bubble or something?

I suspect that he's been too concerned over his chickens. Females (after they are yours) tend to calm guys down!

Large catapult in a field....Bens custom SDA speaker aflame as it rises out of the catapult and hurls flaming across the field to its final resting place......might need to start a yearly speaker fling thing -

Myself and another are working on a rocket. The only issue is ROC(rate of combustion). Burns to slow and there is a flame coming out the bottom. Too fast and it explodes. I can see it now.... Ben demonstrating his new rocket design & launch platform at his July 4th CP gathering. That could be Russ helping Ben with getting the launch pad to the proper angle.

ben wouldn't be satisfied with just a potato bazooka alone. he'd want to set it up like a turret atop his vehicle and have it run full-auto while controlling it by tapping into his car stereo's steering wheel controls.
...my bad. forgot to add that his epic FAIL would be the many cans of hair spray somehow exploding in the trunk of his car.

We have thought of a mellon laucher. The problem is high velecity fruits of substabcial mass could be rather dangerous. In the past we have done the potatoe thing, and we could rip the bark off of hardwood trees. More propery and we would do it.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Catapults are fun and challenging to build!
-
watermelons are better suited for catapults. a potato gun fitted for use with a watermelon would only shoot smooshy exploded watermelon parts 'n juice.
i've been wrong before. care to test the theory there bennie?
here's a vid of stupidface shootin' his bud with a weak potato gun.

Who knows, before long he may think of modifying a paintball gun with a small tube barrel and some crossbow bolts. A lot of opportunity to be had there.:eek:;)>
