Jolida preamp options

I'm bi-amping with 2 stereo amps (nad) and the hook-up was L&R preamp outputs to L&R amps.....okay, then use the pass through jacks on the amps to complete the bi-amp hookup.Because I find my speakers somewhat forward ,treble and mids I've been using the level adjustment nobs on the amps to reduce signal to the top end.I new this preamp has 2 sets of outputs, one high the other low.Sooooo I tried plugging the bass drivers to the high output and mids and treble to the low output. I got a MUCH better resulting sound with this set up even with all the level nobs on full! Don't know why this sounds better but I'm glad I tried it. The manual says the low outputs can be used for powered subs.

The manual states the hign outputs have 20 DB of gain ,low inputs have 10 DB.This has made my paradigm 100's exciting and easy to live with.

I'm a little confused. Your pre has 2 sets of outputs, one as "high" and the other set as "low"?
I'm not quite sure I follow you, but it sounds like even at the max setting, your tweeters are getting less gain which helped mellow out your high freqs. I'm going by your last post where the booklet says 20db gain and 10db gain. Glad to hear you're enjoying the speakers more. -
