That's crazy! I wonder what other convictions he had that prompted the 10 year sentence?

That was priceless. Guy was obviously unhinged, and feeling like a lot of people. . . just unsure of where to point his anger. Better City Hall, than the City Mall.

I hear. . in addition to being told to turn down his music, he was also upset that they changed the recycle bins from green to blue.

"Johnson said he had not taken his medication all weekend and as a result his schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder were out of control"

That vid was funny as hell, but it was pieced together, look at the times - 1am there shouldn't have really been anyone there. 10 years is a bit much, no consideration for his condition. If it had been a convenient store, he'd have gotten half that or less.

My guess as to why the video looks like it does - Most digital surveillance systems only record when there's movement. If those people were the last ones through, it would've stopped recording until the car came crashing through.
    Ludicrous gibs!

He wasn't taking his meds so his condition shouldn't have been taken into consideration. In fact he should have been given no consideration what-so-ever if he had the meds and wasn't taking them. Even mentally ill people with those conditions know the ramifications of not taking their meds. I am speaking from experience here.

I love how they are going to implement security measures to ensure nobody drives through it again.

1 incident in however-many years = better make sure THIS doesn't happen again.

    Sorry... I hate this mentality.

I am speaking from experience as well. I can attest that you cannot rationalize- 'make sure you take your meds', or much of anything, to someone with schizophrenia. Fortunately and unfortunately, that family member no longer suffers. She wouldn't take antibiotics to treat a simple skin infection, so do you think that she could have been rationalized with enough to take psychotropic meds? We tried courts, police, hospitals, churches, everything. When she was lucid, she was brilliant. . she beat the court order. Anyway, that simple skin infection, hidden and untreated, killed her. There is nothing rational in that.
