You know I have never tried it over a long trip. I am not sure how the Ps3 would turn off after using it. I have used it in my house to watch videos in bed....that was pretty cool.

EDIT: You have to have internet connection in order for it to connect to your ps3, and if I am not mistaken you have to have your ps3 turned on before you can connect.

No CP I tried it using the .AVI function. I was able to access my ps3, then my movie folders, then I watched some AVI's. Never tried a Blue-Ray. But I am almost positive you can!

I got my psp slim, its 2000 version not 3000 but its ok with me. I connected ps3 via remote play, i had machinst blu ray disc in ps3, and i m not seeing Machinst on my psp. I assume it wouldnt work or i currently have factory's previous firmware and have not downloaded latest firmware yet. I would need memory card to store new firmware.

Hmmm I thought it would do it. But after research...no it wont.

blu-ray is high def. 1080p. the resolution on the psp is far lower and either the ps3 or the psp would have to downscale the video and audio. this will probably never be a go.
