mid-bass driver for monitor 7

Just bought a pair of monitor 7s for $55 and one of the mid bass drivers is done. I knew it was toast when I bought them, but figured some on might have a used one they would like to part with. I'd buy a new one, but that $55 i spent is the last of what I can spend on "toys" for a while. The only way I will be able to get them up and running is if some on here can give me an awesome deal on one.
Thanks for taking a look,
dude.

That is what is in there. I meant to post that above. -

I thought M7's only came out with MW6500's (early 7's) and MW6502's (late 7's). In fact, this is the first time I hear of a MW6501. What's in the other speaker?_________________________________________________

it's a 6502 in the working one.

If you have the SL2000 tweeter you should be running the 6502's.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

If you can find a MW6502 used it will solve your issue. I had to replace mine in an early Monitor 7B and bought two of the new MW6503 drivers from Polk new. They were slightly different from the MW6500s but I really liked the sound (I have owned the Monitor 7s since 1979), but I also upgraded the crossovers based on the information avaliable on this site:D. i need to replace a MW6502 in one of my 7's and can only find a pair of MW 6503's online.
what kind of crossover upgrade did you do and was in something that needed to be done with these componets?
thanks. -
No Crossover changes were required for the driver change but I did upgrade the Capaciters and the resisters per instructions posted on this site. Great results.integrated w/DAC module Gryphon Diablo 300
