    that is a pretty awesome deal, how do the monitor 30s match up to the monitor 40s? are the monitor 40s worth an additional ~$60? Are the monitor 30s (or both) more suited for surround use than main speaker use?

    40s are better and worth more (+ $60 is personal decision). For me - yes it is worth extra $60. Both r suited for Surrounds, but few here has used'em for fronts and like it.
