So, thanks to everyone that helped me find the Monitor10bs. Too bad they got away. I was going to post this in the "speakers" forum, under my old thread, but thought it'd be more appropriate here.

    Not sure, I can ask.

Would that make it a particular model? What are you thinking?

RTA 15 maybe,, whatever,,it does not appear to be the TL version.Nonetheless,, a very respectable speaker.

In that picture, the baffle looks wider than the 11T, but comparing it to the Polksda pics, I pretty sure that's what it is. A very good speaker.

Thanks guys. Any kinda good price range on these? I saw a set recently sold on ebay for a little over $300. Is that about reasonable?

These are better than the 10's. A lot of people will argue that these are better than the RTA15's. You can easily mod the XO to the TL status.
    Ben

Edit:I wouldn't go any higher than $200. You can find some SDA 2B's for that price.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

The pic threw me off somehow,, my first response was 11t,, but something looked weird,, if they are in fact 11t's,,200.00 is a fair price,, good luck

Yep RTA 11-T. I just got a pair for $90, but one speaker looks like it got dropped and got damaged in one corner and also has a frozen driver. I like the sound and can't wait to fix the driver and mod the XO.

Not quite! lol. I just got off the phone with the owner. Confirmed they are 11T's. It through me off at first, he said he bought them new around 2-3 years ago (uh...what???).

He wants $200 for them, not sure if he'll go lower. I might try to lowball. Will keep you guys updated.

Here we go. Take two on the vintage speaker quest.

I'm not sure about the 2-3 years ago part? He's either a real dumb ****, or he's telling a fibb:eek: None the less, the speakers look to be in good shape. I would try to get him below $200 though.:)

If they are in good condition, and all the drivers are functioning properly,, 200.00 is fair,if you can talk him down, more power to you,,BTW,they sound especially good with tubes. Good luck
