Decent HDMI cables

Anyone have any recommendations for decent HDMI cables. I would prefer to spend no more than 40 or so for a decent quality. I know Monoprice has some really cheap ones but I am not sure of their quality compared to other places for HDMI.
Thanks

Even i had same inhibitions, but took a risk and ordered a 6ft black one, please dont hesitate or waste your $ on other high priced over hyped brands, its much better quality than local BB shops etc ones, and i ordered a 10ft later, both are very high quality, and for the price i would not think twice, if you are not satisfied you can return them for a full refund except for the shipping i think. Their CS is really good.

Nothing wrong with monoprice cables. HDMIs are one place where 'you' don't have to spend a fortune on cables...most do the trick. Just make sure your run is as short as possible because the only real problem with HDMI is length and 1.3 version certification. My HDMI ran me about 12 dollars! Save your money for other interconnects that 'matter'! Bluejeans also good!

using 3 pairs from monoprice right now very nice build and you cant beat their price....and compared to a friends "high dollar HDMI" can not hear a difference, he actually ended up sending 2 of his unused ones back and bought 2 from monoprice...........

I bought three sets of HDMI from Monoprice. Works great. Build and jacket are excellent, 24 gauge. I had for almost a year and half, never had any problem.

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

You just have to realize one thing. HDMI cables suffer from signal losses on long runs. Under six feet, no problems... Almost any cable will do. Going longer and the picture can get a tad soft or you can get garbage in the signal. Going over 15-20 ft and the losses can get pretty serious. My HDMI run is 25 ft and signal loss with a MIT and Monoprice cables was pretty obvious... Although I do not like paying for Monster cables high prices, it was the only one that performed decently.

I have used Monoprice cables between my player and TVs with 6-foot cables and had no problems. i would not recommend them for uber-lengths...

Just installed 30 feet of Monoprice's 24AWG high speed HDMI cable in my attic (2 15' lengths with a coupler), with 1.5' and 6' lengths coming out of the wall plates. Surprisingly, that 37.5' run passes 1080p flawlessly to my Sanyo PLV-Z2000. I had also bought a HDMI extender/amplifier from them because I was concerned about the length of the run, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary.
    Equipment list:
    Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
    Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights

    DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor
    Epson 8500UB 1080p projector
