That's going to kick **** if it works as well as they say it does. Especially for all the science stuff

That's going to be great.engtaz
I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
can't wait to see all our inane arguments boil down to statistics grabbed from there

I just f'ed around with it for a few minutes and it really isn't as cool as they made it seem. A lot of the questions I asked came up with no answer and most of the questions it got right there's already plenty of services doing what you need. I suppose it is a bad **** calculator if you know what to type and don't have a basic TI-83 hanging around. Oh well, maybe it will get better.

It will get better at an exponential rate. We are approaching the Singularity, where machine intelligence will equal/pass human intelligence. Actually, for some people, this occurred years ago, and of course, The Stupid People will say it can never happen.

Pretty impressive based on the demo. It just kept going on and on-I like the iterface and options and fuzzy logic its got going.____________________

Oh I know it will get better and I certainly hope it does. It seems like it has a lot of potential usefulness once it's bast it's infant stage.
As for machine intelligence surpassing human intelligence, well I suppose that depends on how you measure intelligence. If it's the ability to accurately answer complex math problems and/or react based on pre-set, assumed or calculated probabilities then I'd say you're right. However, if it's the ability to understand the world around it, use creativity to solve problems, understand emotions and to "read between the lines" or to compose a song/paint a picture/make a movie I'd say we have a long way to go.
Computers are only as smart as the people who build them so while they may be surpassing the computational power of the general population (or will soon, I dunno) for now at least we still have the upper hand. Until D-day of course when Skynet becomes aware
