I have a pair of Mapleshades Golden Helix Speaker PLUS wires @ 8ft in length with no terminations.
MS seems to have lowered the price WAY below what I paid for them :confused:Tried selling them here and other forums but no luck.

So, If you'd like a shot at these here is the deal:

Have more than 100 posts.

Write an honest review of what you think of the wires.

If you don't like them, offer them up as a Karma.

I'll draw a name on the 31st of May. It may be a few days before I can ship them since I am on business travel.

I am NOT in. I have the Mapleshade Double Golden Helix Plus 8' cables, and I love them. After replacing 12 guage stranded copper hardware store cable (which sounded pretty good) with the Mapleshade, I was knocked over. Everything was clearer and more detailed. I was a speaker wire convert after that. Whoever gets these cables will appreciate it. I hope the rest of their gear is up to par.

Thanks for the Karma offer, but not in. These are truly excellent cables!!! I had them for awhile but there stiffness gave me trouble when I reconfigured my system. Other than that I'd still be using them. Whomever gets them will be in for a real treat.

What are you replacing them with Gordon?

    Not in...

I have demo'd these cables before from a friend who raved over them. I compared them to my Cobalt cables and a set of Monster Z2 biwire. In comparison, they were VERY airy and extremely detailed. It was almost scary how wide they threw the sound stage. The only reason I kept my Cobalts is because I prefer a warm, more mellow sound which I did not get with the MS. With the LSi's, I wanted a more mellow sound with a richness to it. When using my buddy's Martin Logan Aeries, I prefered the MS over the other cables. These are definitely a nice cable... I do recommend them for some people with the right equipment looking for a certain sound. Great karma!
