Today while driving from coldwater mich. to south bend i went thru a little town called bristol, at the edge of town was a garage sale and to my surprise there was a set of sda 1's just sitting there all alone on a blanket. but as i drove on by i thought they would be gone as i had several hours of driving ahead of me before i would be back that way.So i stopped at the atm just i case they were there when i went back thru and as luck would have it they were still there,so i hurried my flatbed boom truck to the edge of the road and went to look at them,one speaker had a ripped driver but that was it.
so i ask the lady what she wanted for them and to my surprise she said $60!
in about 2 min. time a straped them down on my truck and was on my way.

    For that price, I'm guessing that she never wanted to see those things again. I would love something like that, but it'll never happen because they aren't visually acceptable by the other half...and we're not even married yet. That's not a bad sign is it?

    Very nice find. This may be the deal of the year.... $60?....that is a no brainer. They look to be in excellent condition.

    It doesn't suprise me they stayed for so long. NOBODY wants big ugly speakers anymore (their terms not mine). Their loss.

    X 10 ....Helluva snag , those arent very common here out west...here it seems to be small and supersized. I think 2 tweeters/4 MW's and a large radiator would be perfect for most normal sized rooms....you hit the jackpot my friend :D
