Sub Opinion

I've been looking to step up the sub ladder and have been haggling with someone for a used Paradigm PW-2200. I got him down to $450 Canadian. Any opinions on whether this is worth the money? Going to be mostly home theater with a little music. Where I am, I don't have a lot of audio stores other than big box so it's difficult to find a wide variety around here.
