SDA2Bs With new caps. Awsome

I now have new caps and resistors and my 2Bs have gone to a whole new level of SQ. Detail,and resolution are improved.Bass and soundstage were a bit laid back at first but after a few hours they are now better than before.And the highs..Wow, the highs are so clean and sharp.I must have sat and listened for 5 hours just amazed at how good they sound now.That was only the beginning though
After a few hours I couldnt take it any longer and got to hooking up the 2new pair of air matrix ICs I got on audiogon.I replaced the monster ICs I had going from the DAC to pre and pre to amps. Again I had a huge boost in SQ that surpassed my expectations.And the some...
Part 3 will be modding the amps with bypass caps in a few days.Maybe saturday morning.:D
The only thing left to do after that is to TL Em. 5.8 sonicaps are on the way as of yesterday.Ill hold of on the 198s a few weeks cause money is a little tight after all these latest upgrades....I will post pics of the 565 mods after I install the bypass caps just to make sure I get it right.(Its my first amp mod after all)
Last, a big thanks to ben for doing the rebuild.Great soldering skills and a pro looking job.They sound AWSOME. Now Im going to go listen to a few more CDs:D:D:D

    What caps did you go with?

    You can recoup some of your money by selling the 194's...

    Just wait till you install the TL mod/198's. ;)

    Dayton 1% caps...........I dont have 194s.Just the old sl2000s. But they do sound better, sort of..
