from what i have gatherd here the 2 subs in the 7.2 is just bs because its just the same signal split into 2 subs that any old receiver can do .From the limited reviews i have come across the dolby llz adds 2 speakers above the screen in order to create a more dimentional sound field for things like helicopters and jetz wizing above your head , but the reviewers have said its no diffrent from a regular 7.1 setup, i myself have orderd this and will post my own opinions about this and test if a semi retarded person like myself can tell the diff , i will use video games and movies

Slow is right.
That extra sub out is no more than a splitter which you can buy yourself for not much money. As far as the extra front speakers...it's pretty much a gimmick.
Yamaha has been touting 'PRESENCE' speakers for years and nobody's been paying attention. Onkyo has NOTHING new there!!!

Does anyone know if the 7.2 avrs provide seperate volume and cross for each sub output? If so, its not just a gimmick.

Hey Mike,
Someone has looked into this receiver and claimed that it's just wired like a Y cable...Don't know about other receivers....
Sub is boxed (double boxed) goes out tomorrow. Original packing and instructions included. Sorry for the delays there!

Some people need to drive two subs. A Y cable is not the best way to do that due to impedance matching problems.
BTW the .2 in 7.2 is for "sub" and "height" channels. Not two subs. Many .1 recievers have two sub outputs.-Kevin
