I finally did it...

Well, it took me a few more years then I anticipated, but I chalk it up as spending more time building my working history then finishing school. However, two years ago, I said, I will graduate in two years with my Undergrad degree.

I buckled down and did it. Had to take an average of 16 hrs a semester plus one summer of 7hrs, but I did it! I walked this past week and finally earned my Bachelors.

I have been working 50+ hrs a week, and juggling school as well at night. So glad I made it though. 28 isn't too old to walk the first time I don't think.

Off for a semester, then gonna go back and finish up my M.B.A.

Just thought I would brag a little big on my big weekend last week :)

I didn't look real happy because well... I received very bad news the Thursday before walking on Friday. However, I decided to still walk, and was glad I did :) It was a good accomplishment, and nothing to be pushed aside just because of bad news that I found out.

Cheers!

Congrats. You should be proud. That's by far a greater accomplishment than graduating at 23.

Congratulations, and good job. Welcome to the club. Less than 30% of the population is in the club. What field is your degree? Don't sweat the age. I didn't go to college until I was 34, and graduated at almost 38. Get a useful graduate degree (engineering/ computer science). If you can balance a checkbook you know as much as an MBA. ;)

My wife is 28 and she's graduating this Saturday. Granted she's been working the whole time and had a baby as well, so it hasn't been easy for her.

    Congratulations!
