Comparing SDA CRS w/ other SDAS'

I've owned a pair of SDAs' before selling them off last year to purchase the LSI 25s' , Lsc and Fxs'. The new set up is great but I do miss the SDAs' for pure stereo listening. I had the SDA 2bs' I believe.
I am thinking of purchasing another set of SDAs' again but I don't really want to spend a heck of a lot of money. Building a new home so its not a great time to do this but I'm sure at this forum there is no need to explain.
I can purchase a pair of the SDA CRSs' and want to know how they compare with the rest of the series. I did audition these back in the day but have forgotten what they sound like. Should they fulfill my hunger?

Thank you,
Joe

They should fulfill the hunger. They are very good speakers but will not have the bass of the SDA 2's. They were made as a bookshelf speaker. If you use in that way you will be pleased with them.
Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,
Yamaha RX-V2500 System, Carver A753 3 channel amp.

    Polk Speaker collection: SDA SRS 1.2tl x 2, SRT system, SDA SRS 2 P/B, SDA 2A, SDA 1C Studio, SDA CRS+, Monitor 7B & 4, SRS 3.1tl, RTA 15tl, LS90, LSI 9

Just to chime in, I am an original owner of a pair of SDA CRS from the mid 80's and I am still happy with them today. I have always used them with a subwoofer, but they work pretty well without one too. They are used in my bedroom where I keep them on a bookshelf about 5 feet off the floor, and about 8 inches off the wall, with about 4 feet of space between the cabinets - imaging is pretty good as I lay in the bed listening.

Their setup up has to be more exacting. HeadphoneAddict has a great start for setup. Play around with the distance from wall to get the bass response you like. CRS's have rear firing bass so the distace from wall makes a difference.
