Trade: SRS 4.1TL for active monitors

I am wanting to built a new computer rig and so I am interested in trading my SRS 4.1TLs (formerly SDA CRS+) for a pair of powered/active monitors. These speakers have been given lots of love from the bottom up with the drivers removed, cleaned, and baskets sound dampened, new RDO198 tweeters, Sonicaps and Mills resistors, new binding posts, and all new driver seals. These are almost new except for a little cabinet wear from being 20 years old and a scratch on the top of the left speakers which was fixed with furniture polish/wax. I also have built a 12g pin/blade IC for them and I have a printed version of their manual.
Obviously, I would prefer to trade these with someone local so shipping (and possibly damage) is not involved with these babies, but I'm willing to chat with whoever. I may also be interested in just selling them, but I would prefer to trade.

Nice looking Polks. -
These are an excellent example of SDA's. The next owner is in for a treat."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

I probably have about 500 hours on the XC and put 150 of that on them before I even listened to them. -

I'm really looking for a studio monitor type set of speakers. I'd just love to get rid of all the electronics under my desk and clean the place up. I know monitors can be less musical and more analytical than other speakers, but I'm okay with that for this application. -
I'd be willing to buy some studio monitors for you in exchange for the CRS's. (equal value)
or if you ever need a kidney Im here.:) -

They are fun and overkill for a PC rig. (Which is the only way to go )

Those will be sweet for the next owner. I had the CRS+'s before I got my 2B's that I TL'd and am now selling. They're practically the same speaker, just in a smaller cabinet. I never TL'd the CRS's, but I know how good the 2B's sound when these upgrades are done. These are sure to be flat-out superb. Someone really ought to grab these!Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Still available as a few trades didn't work out.
I'll also open it up for sale at this point. I'm not sure how much shipping will be, but I going to guess that I'll have so ship them in two boxes. I'll looking for $525 including shipping and insurance, an obviously less if you want to pick them up. I'm sure I'll eat it on the shipping costs, but as long as these end up in someones loving hands and I get to replace them with a pair of monitors, I'll be happy.
