Anyone heard any good news on this player? There are some grumblings on the net that it is better that the XA9000ES.

    It looks pretty nice to me, but it's a little out of my price range for a standard CD/SACD player.

    I've heard very good things about it.

    There was a review of it in the latest Stereophile. According to them it's the best SACD player Sony's ever made.

    I'm going to be getting a dedicated CDP next year, after I get my 2 ch. rig going. Right now, this is the prime contender.
