LSi25 Connection Help

Currently, I have my speaker wires from my Parasound 2205AT going to the top speaker connections on the 25's and metal jumper is in place. They sound great. I also have a dedicated Klipsch sub. My Parasound 7100 Classic handles the bass management, and I have the 25's set to large with my LSiC and surrounds set to small.
Pardon me if I sound really stupid here, but this is my first experience with powered towers, but I'm assuming that the 10 inch subs are being driven by the sub amps the way I have it connected right? Or is my Parasound amp driving the subs as if they were passive? I wasn't sure if I needed RCA LFE connections in place to have the sub amp actually drive the subs. Any help regarding optimal connections and configuration would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You are thinking it right. The amp is powering the two small woofers and tweeters for the mids and highs. The power plate amp is powering the 10" sub driver.
I believe the 10" sub driver is always powered by the sub plate amp no matter how you change the configuration.
If you remove the bi-wire jumper and fed each pair of binding post with the amplification (aka bi-amping) from the parasound amps, you are really wasting one channel of amplifier for each tower. The reason is that the sub plate amp has built-in converter for speaker level input to line level input thus requires little power.
You can also use RCA level input to the sub and remove the jumper plate from the bindings posts. If you read the manual for LSi25, I think it described all possible configurations and how the crossover behind the plate amp works except it doesn't mention what powers 10" sub driver.
Regardless of the configuration you choose, the sub driver is always powered by the plate amp behind the tower.Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:
