Speaker stands for RM30
Hi,
I just purchased a pair of RM30s from Fry's on a great deal, $199 for the pair.
I couldn't pass it up, I know they are older models, but new in the box for that price is fine by me.
My question is speaker stands for them. Does anyone have any ideas since the base has the funky shelf stand so they aren't flat like traditional speakers.
I'm just worried about them getting knocked over, right now they are on the floor and sound ok, but if I prop them up around 16" they sound amazing.
I would love to mount them on the wall, but with my setup that's not an option.
Thanks for your help.

Take one of them along with you and check what is available in your favorite store. Check if any could be somehow mounted with either the mounting speakers or with the wall plate. Another option would be to amke your own custom made stand out of your favorite wood or even similar aluminum to their casing using the existing small stand as a template to groove cut appropriately. Not sure in which way wall mounting isn't an option... Could wall mounting with an extender be an option? I was personnally thinking of some of the sort my self as it would provide some distance from the wall which is usually better sound wise and personnaly I would also say esthetically. How about ceiling mount, meaning the support coming down from the ceiling at the desired height and screwed onto the speakers bolts? How installing some nice design post ceiling to floor at the desired location and bolt as above mentioned on ceiling mount?

Thanks for those options. They sound good, a lot of work though.
I attached a pick up my setup.
I know, I have a huge box for a TV, but no burn in and I obviously have a little one so it's nice to have something they can't knock over.
And my center channel sucks, but that's another story. I'm working on that.
