Because of the recent burglary of my truck, I am selling my car audio and going back to factory audio. I hate to do this but replacing what they took and taking the chance it might happen again overwhelms me.

So sorry to hear of your troubles.

1. Windows tinted on truck? What they don't see they don't know.
2. Don't play it loud in your neighborhood.
3. Watch for people will follow you to find where you live.

Those things should help to deter them.

only got off w/ HU? what kind? sure coulda been a LOT worse.(amp, box, truck etc.) count your blessings. good advice from engtaz. could also include an alarm(one that works). if it helps i got my $600 HU stolen past winter along w/ smashed window and passenger door lock destroyed. still no lock, but HU is back! also left amps, components and sub..

Yeah they got off with my jvc avx800 double din touchscreen HU which when I bought it retailed for about 750. They broke my tinted front window. My amp was hidden and that box was too big and heavy for a quick steal. I probably will eventually replace it with the big brother the avx810 with the only double din that has a detachable face if I cant sell the rest of my gear.
