Title says it all ... replacing RTi10 with Bryston + LSi9 combo I'm oh my god so much happier.

It's night and day.

And yeah I know the amp is SS, but I swear it sounds better after it has been on for about 30 minutes.

Totally normal for most amps especially Class A amps and heavily biased A/B amps, not so much for class D, H, G, ICE or Tripath amps.

Mine really starts to open up and sound good at the 1hr 30min mark. When first turned on it sounds very dark and closed in. It takes about 60 minutes for everything to bias up and stabilize being it's a pure single ended class A amp. The transisotrs have to reach the proper temperature and have the proper bias current running through both the input and output stage.

Congrats and enjoy I loved my 9's when I had them and with proper amplification they really open up and sound superb.

Nice match getting a Bryston amp. Do yourself a favor down the line and mod the LSi x-over, the difference will blow you away.

Congrats on your purchase. I"ve always wondered how Bryston amps would sound with the LSi. My friend used to have a Bryston/B&W combo. The sound was very warm with excellent reserves. I'm sure your LSi9 are kicking ****.
