So I decided to test out the R3 Rega's again. They are described as needing
little wall clearance. Bullsh*t. I put them where the Proacs sounded good.
What an improvement. They are sounding pretty good for such a small
floorstander. No where near the soundstage or presense of the Proacs, but
not too shabby. I paid way too much attention to reviews and
other nonsense. Lesson-try something different. Note: yes I know the
the cables look awful. I'm still moving stuff around. But I'm glad I gave
them another go round before moving on.
