This isn't spam, just a little fyi...
Someone on another board suggested http://www.stardock.com/products/fences/
I change the resolution settings on my laptop on a regular basis, as I dock to a 22" monitor every afternoon. With the change in resolution, my icons would always rearrange themselves. Basically, Fences keeps your icons arranged for you, and also "hides" them for you as well.
Anyway, just thought I would share.
BTW, it does work on XP as well.

I haven't had a vista machine yet, so I'm just happy that most of the apps work with XP.
Have you tried ObjectDock?Tschüss
