Some of it is kinda disturbing, but if you check out the slides it is pretty amazing what they have done. Keep in mind they are only part way there. Again you may find some of this disturbing.

    crazy. I wonder if they will be able to take care of some of the sagging later...i wouldnt see why not? For some reason, it wouldnt allow me to see past picture 12.

    And I thought the French lady (she was the first ever AFIK, in 2005) didn't look too good after her surgery ... and to think her husband did that to her ... that must make it even harder to live with (I seem to remember that the French ladies injuries were caused by a dog mauling).

    Edit: she seems to be improving, I think (photo on top right, maybe?) http://www.isabelledinoire.com/, so there's hope that this lady might improve too, over time.

    I remmeber wathcing some surgery show where some lady had an indented face (similar, but was a birth defect)......they went in and broke the bones around the jaw and eye sockets and then put this crazy looking set of 3 pronged pliars into each nostril and one in her mouth and then pulled her whole face outward. It was one of the most bizarre surgeries I've seen, but definitely one of the coolest........
