Sony TA-N9000ES Amplifiers

All,
I have three (3) Sony TA-N9000ES amplifiers I am selling.
These are all in excellent condition and have been used in a smoke free home.
I'm asking $500 for each and I will discount the price if you buy more than one.
They are black in color and I will include copies of the manual and the service manual when sold.
The amp(s) will be professionally packed and shipped Fedex ground.
There is nothing wrong with the amps and they all function as if they were new. All switches, binding posts and power cords are in excellent condition. None of the amps have been modified from stock Sony specifications and I have had no problems with the units.
My only reason for sale is I picked up a brand new Sunfire TGA-7401 and will be replacing the three Sony's with this new amp.
Pictures available upon request.
I have a 100% feedback rating on ebay over a 10 year period of buying and selling.
Any questions are welcome and thanks for your time.

Hi, I hope this isn't inappropriate of me, but I was googling Sound Craftsman Pro Power 10 amps, and the most recent and thorough posts about this unit seem to be here from you (although a few years ago). I have this amp, and it still runs great, although I don't use it much. I want to use 2 channels to power an outdoor speaker system using 8 ohm TIC Omni G3S speakers. This is a reliable brand that sells to Disney World, Busch Gardens, etc. I know I can run 2 speakers per channel in parallel for a 4 ohm load to the amp, but I read in your post when you scored 2 of these amps a few years back that they could handle a 2 ohm load. My owners manual doesn't mention this one way or the other, but I would love to use 3 speakers per channel which would present a 2.66 ohm load to the amp.
The other 2 channels are for older Polk Monitor Series 5's (2 per channel) and series 10 (1 per channel) using an old Russsound adjustable level control unit to even out the sound. I know this isn't as audiophile as you are used to discussing, but I just use it to spread music around the house for ambiance.
I want to use the other 2 Pro Power 10 channels to do the same in my back yard but without the hassel of the Russound speaker level control. Do you know enough about the amps to know if I can just leave the indoor speakers as is and add the outdoor speakers to the other channel at 2.6 ohms without an issue?
I could afford 8 Omni's and series+parallel them to get back to 8 ohms per channel, but thats more speakers than the yard needs. The outdoor speakers would run off a seperate pre-out DJ unit into the outdoor system.
I can't find a web resource for this type of question so if you know one, I would love a link. I don't know if it matters if all 4 channels of the amp have to "see" the same ohm load for proper operation, or of they are independent. I could fiddle with the indoor and outdoor setup to get it closer if needed.
I am a big time geek when it comes to high end home theater on the AVScience forum, but lost my high end audio interest years ago, so this is new to me. I just promised my wife I would get her music in the yard.
Thanks in advance.
My email is jeffandpamsmith@cox.net, its best to reach me there as I had forgotten I was even a member here until I looked into this. I would love to learn from you if I could.

Thanks, the Sony's are still available.
I'm on the fence about selling them though.
Never know when you might need something like these pieces in the future.
The sunfire TGA-7401 I bought is really nice though.
The TA-N's are only for sale on here and I think I put an ad on Agoraquest.
To the other guy with the Pro Power 10, I don't see any problem with running that amp with that load.
At the very least try it, but I doubt you will drive that amp to fail/shutdown based on what you are connecting.
Those Soundcraftsmen's are pretty beefy and fan cooled. If I had kept my pair I would have refurb'ed them completely due to their age. i noticed a huge SQ improvement when going to the Sony's believe it or not. I did run the Sony's in their bridged 210wpc mode though. I am not quite sure the pair of PPro 10's I had were completely up to spec. The person who bought them never had problems with them though.
I had one of my units bridged to 600W per channel when I had them hooked up via the switches on the back.
I think you'd really have to push the SPL to the limit for the PPro10 to overload with what you are proposing. -
...Does anyone know what the problem is with the N9000es if it is stuck in the PROTECT mode when turned on???? Blinking red light. How much to repair? I have the Sony TA-E9000ES that matches. Was a great system.

Yeah it's $500 to buy one of my amps.
Why are people trolling my for sale ad?
The fix for that problem is out there, google it, I found it in two minutes. -
