I actually first wanted to get a Pioneer RT909, mostly because it had a good reputation and it was rack-mount...but...it is all silver, which would look a little out of place in the rack.

    Joe,

They have made RT-909's in black but they are super rare and usually sell for a lot of money. Akai's are nice but I'd go for a big Teac, maybe like this one

The 707's are nice! I own one of those also, but they don't play the 10" reels!

Yes I did! With the cat. That is when I learned Honey Bear the cat bites when you stop petting her!! Either she quit biting or I got too tired to care and fell asleep. I still have teeth marks in my hand.:D

I've got twice the amount of stuff he's got and I'll sell it for less than half the price he's asking for his.
    Joe

    Which raises the questions:

    1. Does that include shipping (and insurance) ?
    2. Will you take a check ?

    :)

The dood is selling the ESS Heil's which, generally speaking, people either loathe or love. I fall into the latter category

Joe, you use to have, IIRC, in your sig some AMT-1b's didn't you ? I believe you may have enough amplification to drive those puppies.

I used to have ESS AMT Rock Monitors, same as the ones in the ebay ad....I blew them up. They no longer had the original woofers and the Heil tweets were fried. I sold the carcasses for $100 about a month ago. And yeah, I have enough amplification to drive the space shuttle.

Boy I sure would like to find an RT-909 in black...at a cheap price of course.
